This Association has served WA's licensed plumbing contractors since 1901 and our work never stops.

As well as adding to our extensive online resources for members - as outlined in this news item - we've been busy in other areas this year. Some of these services and activities are members-only, while others are open to all licensed plumbing contractors in WA.

Discounts and offers

Members and their staff can potentially save thousands of dollars a year on business and personal expenses by using the many suppliers who have partnered with us.

2022 Awards for Excellence

Entries are open in the only industry awards competition in WA conducted by a body that represents licensed plumbing contractors. There's a simple online entry process with a range of award categories to recognise achievements in plumbing and business management, plus a special Apprentice of the Year category.

Overseas recruitment program

This is our way of helping members overcome the skills shortage. We announced it with an email to members in June and the response has proven the need.

Waterwise Plumber training

This is for all licensed plumbing contractors in WA who want to become Waterwise endorsed or renew an existing endorsement. The training is all online and self-paced, making it easily accessible to plumbers across the State.

Industry information forums

These regional and metropolitan events are open to all licensed plumbing contractors and their staff. The series started with the Albany event in July, with Bunbury and Margaret River to follow in August.

Business mentoring program

Whether you have recently started your business or have owned it for years, you may benefit from the guidance of our professional mentor. You can get advice about a particular issue, an overall review of your business or anything in between.

FlatRateNOW

FlatRateNOW is an entirely Australian quoting and invoicing software product. Any plumbing business that uses it can expect to save time on quoting, ordering and invoicing, increase their sales and cash flow and improve their customer satisfaction. Our partnership with FlatRateNOW is giving members significant discounts off the usual licence fee.

MPA Work Health Safety Management System

Exclusively for members, the MPA Work Health Safety Management System has been designed specifically for plumbing business. It includes a documented set of plans, actions and procedures that reduce the effort and expense of managing workplace health and safety compliance obligations.

MPA Finance

Members of The Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Association of WA, their staff and families have access to the professional services of MPA Finance. MPA Finance is for members, their staff and families. A great feature of the service is that you can request a no-obligation review of your financial position and get advice about whether lower interest rates are available.
