Over the years The Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Associations’ Business Mentor, Paul Ballantyne, has been a boss, a friend and a business mentor. Within my business of leak detection, we have discussed many items and where I would like the business to go into the future years. He has been great to lean on for advice and guidance which is sometimes required stepping into areas which you may be unfamiliar with and how to tackle these. Statewide Leak Detect was also not a member of the The Master Plumbers Association which he also advised would be a good move to join. This move has been invaluable with not only their in-house insurance but with the contacts that they will forward me to and the industry connection within this.
